I think you're going about this the wrong way by using hyperbole. He probably won't die from those eating habits by 40 (maybe if he's also dramatically overweight, that's an issue) despite them being horrific. Arguing that weakens your point. It will be fucking inconvenient and embarrassing forever and could lead to more specific (non-death) health problems as well.

But I don't really think you can argue someone into eating better in this case -- it probably won't work no matter how good your arguments anyway. It probably is what it is and you should perhaps consider leaving. It will be a source of constant frustration most likely and it does sound like a very unattractive trait.
