My pharmacy manager cut my hours after I submitted an HR report against her

If the store manager has to approve reduced hours, then talk with him about the situation and maybe he can override her decision to reduce the hours. If they both agree on these reduced hours, however, it could be that they are giving you a "soft firing" where they reduce your hours so much that they're hoping you just quit. It's very common in retail. Thankfully, in most states, an employee whose hours have been cut significantly, can collect partial unemployment benefits. Employees who quit because their working conditions, hours or salary have changed significantly are often eligible for unemployment, as well.

It's unfortunate that she just sort of barged in and did this to you after you've been working there for longer, but many people would do it out of spite if you tattled on them to HR. Also, I'm not sure why HR told her about your report and then didn't attempt to fix your situation. Maybe in the future you should ask HR if you can make the report/complaint anonymously.

I'd also recommend that you not give your pharmacy manager any opportunity to "judge" you about your life choices by simply not discussing them or your personal life while at work. Keep to yourself and stick up for yourself especially if you're being ordered around while in the middle of helping a customer. I'd say "excuse me, I'm helping a customer, I'll be there in a minute." or something along those lines. you aren't her bitch and there's no reason for you to reduce your customer service for her.

She just seems like a childish, spiteful person who won't be a joy to work with anyway and at this point I'd try to transfer to another store in your area, if possible, or get a pharm tech job somewhere else.
