My power company came and repaired the powerlines on every street in our neighborhood except mine and three others. Wonderful, isn't it?

They've pretty much just dicked us around. We know there is a tree on the line a street over, and I reported this to them as their instructions are… And the person on the line told us that that has nothing to do with it. Because we are all connected individually, and they would just shut off that single node. Plus, they informed me over the phone during that same call that it is up to the homeowner to cut that tree down by hiring a company to do it. That since it is during a natural disaster they will not remove the tree. So they said that is not the reason why we don't have power. But then, a day or two later, local news told people that there is a tree or other obstruction on the powerline and that is the reason that we haven't gotten power back. But they even told me they wouldn't remove it. It's up to the homeowner, which is funny because we live in Florida, and that person is a seasonal Snowbird… They don't even live down here. So if that's true, we are suffering for someone who doesn't even live in Florida most of the year and will not handle this issue.
