Bro. You're right in everything you're saying, but what you seem to be missing is that this sub mainly, but also Reddit as a whole, is filled with outside influences, bad actors, and extremely aggressive astroturfing... All of which has the sole intent of demoralizing and dividing people.

Don't look at people here as reflective of real life or of how people actually treat and think of others. You'd be just as well off trying to argue against a TV villain on your screen, who also has specific interests to get you to dislike them and who is also just as real as the account and comments you see here.

In short, while it looks like you still have your sanity, find better subs to post to and devote your time to. You'll feel much better in the end, I promise.
