My psychiatrist told my parents in detail how I use marijuana(I am 17). My therapist told me how much he disagrees with the fact she did this, and how it 100% breaks confidentiality laws. Should I hire a lawyer and sue?

Putting this here so it's not top level. Don't ever reveal anything to this therapist again. You may not be able to easily discontinue seeing her. If you can't, then at your next meeting, tell her that everything you say from now on will be dishonest. Either she will dump you as a client, or you will avoid the problem of her disclosing confidential information. Do not under any circumstances engage in a discussion with her about the violation of confidentiality. If she tries to explain, smile and say, "I totally agree." If she asks questions about what you think, say "I don't want to discuss it." Don't forget to lie about everything if you have to see her. Then anything she snitches about isn't true.

Also, talk to your psychiatrist about this. Get a commitment that he/she won't do the same thing.

Also, these little cigarette rolling machines cost 3 or 4 dollars at your local tobacco store. They are an awesome way to roll beautiful joints. You can learn how to use it from YouTube viddies. https://images.ezvid.com/image/upload/fl_immutable_cache/e_trim/c_pad,f_auto,h_270,q_auto:eco/yuecwtntzw4ptqqum0ny
