Glenn was the journalist that Snowden came to to reveal the NSA was illegally spying on US citizens. By my estimation he has a very solid track record and has done some very important work as a journalist. I trust him and trust his integrity.

This isn't happening in a vacuum either. Centrists and moderates are being ostracized. People interested in truth over party affiliation are becoming rare, especially within institutions. I felt Bari Weiss was a great loss for NYT and her resignation also was a reflection of social pressure, and even professional pressure to align yourself with the "correct ideological motivation" or risk having your voice suppressed or ostracized.
