My Response to My Genesis 3 Commentary Critique.

As for the "cute" comments, you definitely said more than one person was cute. I'm a brony, and super proud that I'm a fan of an excellent show and part of an incredibly talented community, but I don't bring it up when I'm commentating a local. It takes away from the game and puts the focus on you.

But not even talking about commentary, I don't bring up that I'm a brony at all unless another individual initiates the conversation, or I'm with close friends or other bronies. There's just no reason to. Like I said, I'm proud that I'm a brony, but I get as annoyed as someone who despises MLP when someone constantly brings it up for no reason.

You might say that this is totally different, but it's really not. Someone else in this thread said their friend is gay and they were also getting annoyed by your comments. Besides everyone says bronies are all gay anyway so...

Other than the "cute" remarks, and overusing "A lot of people have been waaandering...", your commentary was great. I personally wouldn't have said anything... But then you made this post accusing Reddit of just bandwagoning. Of course some people did, some people always will. But a lot of people were giving you genuine critique, and you say you're open to that critique, but you accuse those same people of exaggerating things and bandwagoning. I think you really ought to rewatch Top 8 with a couple friends who aren't afraid to critique you.

I like you a lot, and I respect that you always seem to be looking to improve, but I think you should've waited until at least tomorrow to post this. People bandwagon, and people exaggerate, but they also gave you things to work on and this post makes it sound like you're downplaying the opinions of the people who like you and want you to improve.

Good job on Top 8 regardless.
