My sentiments going into rivalry week

Hey sorry for the absurd tardiness in this response--I was just looking over my post history and saw this message again. I chuckled because from what I remember of the game you were absolutely spot on in your prediction. It was painful watching ARodge try to roll out, only to find nothing and get sacked.

At the risk of sounding like a condescending zealous dick here I just wanted to say sorry about the season man. That really sucks. What do you chalk it up to? From the peripheral it seems like a case of downright bad luck and misfortune. This is a Vikings team that I had a lot of respect for at the beginning of the season. You can tell me if I'm absolutely wrong, but personally even when Teddy fell, I liked the boldness in the Bradford move--the ambition and urgency to win NOW is a trait I think our current GM and headcoach could learn from (I know "being smart" and playing it safe has allowed us to remain competitive for a long time, but damn sometimes the courage to gamble and take risks is necessary, win or lose--and in his defense we've been seeing more of that mentality from McCarthy). It would be hard to accomplish anything with that O-Line... Also from the little I know of him I must say I like Zimmerman alot both as a coach and as a dude in general. I've had only one coach who was generally likeable and earned absolute respect from everyone, and everyone wanted to go out and bleed for the guy--Zimmerman seems like that kind of coach. And maybe this is pure projection but as someone who has been dealt a fair share of bad hands and misfortune the last couple years I can sympathize with the guy, and hope he can pull himself up from this season.

Anyway sorry for bloviating, I'm avoiding work.
Cheers!
