My sister's fiance last minute called off their engagement after finding out that she will most likely not be able to have children naturally.. Seeing my sister process this has reminded me of how resilient women are when we need to be.

I see what your saying and I do think he should be supportive. However, many men have the ambition in life to have their own children and really its not for anyone else to tell him what he wants or what should make him happy in life. I sympathise with op's sister because obviously it's something she cant control. My point is it would be much worse if the guy went ahead with the marriage knowing he would be unhappy, which could potentially cause far more heartache and damage further down the road. By being honest he has given op's sister a chance to find a more suitable partner. It's horrible situation for both parties but I certainly wouldn't blame the guy here.
