Sounds like antisocial personality disorder (basically the same as the idea of psychopaths), but it isn’t usually a diagnosis possible until adulthood. [Not to be an armchair psychologist, I really don’t know your son or his situation].

I’m very sorry for your situation - it sounds like you’ve done all the right things. Just some advice, it may be healthy for you, your wife, and daughter to go see a counselor/therapist after all that trauma. It can be incredibly difficult to deal with all that has happened with him. Give yourself and your family a good chance to heal.

It’s good you went to the police, who knows what he’s capable of. I truly hope your son gets the help he needs and/or can turn his life around.
