This post is alarming...why would you make him wear dirty shoes everyday? That's cruel. Are the other kids saying anything to him? What does him being a genius have to do with literally anything? Lots of kids are in private school. Do you know about shoe wideners? They are like $20 on Amazon. I use them for my son and they work great. Or get some custom made, his Dr. might recommend a place and your insurance can cover it. There is NO way that you CAN'T find proper shoes for him, or alter the shoes yourself. You can. You're being lazy, then you decided to use your son and make him wear ugly shoes daily all to get back at staff you think are unreasonable. They aren't, bc you can get shoes. They should give you a grace period, sure. But the staff is YOUR problem, not your sons. Keep him out of your pettiness.
