Why do my songs lose quality?

I think I know why. You're new to this, right? When you export a song, there is by default something called a limiter on your master track (the track that combines all the other mixer tracks). What the limiter does, is that it makes sure that the music is as loud as it can be, but still makes sure that the variation in volume is existent. If the volume is too high before going to the limiter, it will turn all the volumes down and vice versa.

But be careful about this - there is a reason for it being there by default. If you make the song too loud and deactivate the limiter, there will be earrape (called clipping if you want to research more about it). Also, you might wanna find out what a compressor and an eq does so that you can get everything to a high volume but still have the right balance.
