My Unusual Situation - CERB / EI / CRB

Hey, I was going through all the posts looking for someone saying something like this. this makes sense to me. There are a lot of people freaking out about error "026". If you know in some conclusive way that CERB counts as eligible hours, en you might want to make a post. I suspect you are right, but it's just my interpretation of the situation (have not heard that from an SC or CRA phone rep, or anything.)

It seems to me as though the 026 error could be because SC/CRA/the government in general are trying to establish whether previous EI recipients will be transition onto EI - it seems that they are leaning toward yes and finalizing these details. The lack of announcement seems conspicuous, and to me it suggests that there is currently some sort of reconfiguration on the fly. My interpretation is based on putting the pieces together, but I haven't heard this from an SC or CRA rep. Sounds like maybe you have -- would probably be a good idea to post.
