My views on Montenegro ( brutally honest )

“Yeah well it fucking sucks living somewhere you only get 300-500 euro a month too. Maybe if you were nicer, they be nicer to you too”

Not an excuse , I travelled a lot through out Africa and South America , the people were 100 times more positive , this is a mentality / ego issue , not and issue of poverty .

“We dont want any of you back“

Ok ! Well enjoy getting what you want. I’ve spoken to various people who visited Montenegro and none of them seemed enthusiastic to visit again due to the reasons I mentioned , the tourism business is not about getting one time visitors , it’s about getting people to come back , people will not come back here

“Sounds like your too rich for your own good... stay the fuck out of Montenegro, we don’t need your shitty money.“

Hahaha well , I travel with a small luggage with maybe 8 pieces of clothing, socks , a bathing suit and a hat, I travel very modestly and humbly. So your theory is quite wrong.

The people I have encountered in MNE have been for the most part egotistical , negative , and bad vibes , not all people , I encountered a handful of cool pleasant people , but the majority of the negative ones vs the positive ones is overwhelming . I would advise whoever is in charge of tourism development in this country to educate the public on the importance of hospitality and being helpful and nice to travelers and order to keep tourism expanding , otherwise MNE will just be a temporary “fad” vacation destination
