People don't get how hard that shit is. I've got a mostly grown son, so I have that experience, but my girlfriend and I have 7 animals, which are a lot like toddlers I have found, and everything needs to be done in a specific way or these asshats will decide they'd rather starve and die than eat for the day. Again, very much like my toddler back in the day.

It doesn't mean you're not competent, it means there's a finely-tuned system that requires appeasing small terrorists if you have any hope of spending your day doing anything other than going, "PlleeeeeeeeeaaaseeeTakeABite" for an hour or two until you decide you'd rather chance it with child services than give in to these ridiculous demands.
