I think I’m the only person who did not feel sorry for Maddy in that scene.

It’s all fun and games when he puts someone else in the hospital bc you didn’t feel like taking accountability for being a vindictive slut- but when he holds an unloaded gun to your head bc there’s literally no other way to get your stubborn ass to comply bc you’re up on your high horse again, thinking you’re untouchable, it’s all tears and pity party?

Nah.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, and Maddy is stupid games personified.

Being a victim doesn’t assuage guilt and culpability.

Neither does being pretty.

She didn’t deserve a gun held to her head in the sense that no one deserves that, but still.

Fuck Maddy.

Fuck her trope, and all the girls that trope represents, who make/made school life a living hell for so many of us.
