ILL START BY SAYING ALL I HAVE EVER PLAYED IS GM, EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK! Depends on your style of play/what team you want to build.
For blocks and defense in general, I've expierience the BEST results with; SERGE IBAKA(on the Magic now, EASY to get blocks with when playing), WILLY CAULEY STEIN(Sacramento, wen you're dimming this guy gets INCREDIBLE stats, once got 12 blocks for me and usually gets 10+ rebounds and some assists), Brook Lopez was one I was surprised with, great rebounder and gets some good block numbers, on the Nets, EITHER JOEL EMBIID OR NERLENS NOEL(these guys grow to a pretty good overall and they are very young, longevity and they post awesome block numbers, and Embiid in particular can score) OH, and a STEAL in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson(a SNALL FORWARD that can BLOCK SHOTS!!!! He's the Nets as well), RUDY GOBERT( you HAVE to try out Rudy, he's just a freak on the rebound, and he's 7'1"!!!)
Post players are my favourite, the best in the game in my opinion are: JAHLIL OKAFOR(a post-up GOD in the game, just runs through for the dunk, VERY fun game play and good points in dimming), MARQUESS CHRISS(this ones a rookie! And honestly might be top 5 for post scorers in the game, fast, large post up overalls, and VERY impressive dunk stats; plus he will grow to 80-85 if you use him right) NIKOLA VUCEVIC(Orlando Magic; Vuc is great because he can play pretty much every position, and in every one he's a good post player, and gets literally HUGE points in sim, one of my personal picks), obviously there's DeMarcus Cousins of Scaramento but he's a superstar so you're probably giving up your best player or a LOT of picks for him. DOMANTAS SABONIS( you already have him, one of the BEST rookies in the game so I suggest holding on to him and using him regularly, he grows to a very impressive number), and last but not least, ZACH LAVINE(Timberwolvez, he's not really a post guy, but he's so OP, he's fast and strong, and the best dunker in the game that's not in the 90s. You will have a BLAST playing with him, and he does grow pretty good and puts up good numbers in sim)
And... Shooters. A couple underrated vets for you. JF Smith (Cavs) and Mo Williams (not sure), they put up numbers as if they were Steph Curry, and every 2k has been the same. Their shot IQ is just way too high, and their shooting stats as well. But anyway, moving along. EVAN FOURNIER or MARIO HEZONJA (Orlando Magic, both are young and put up 20+ almost every night. Fournier can get up to 90 of u treat him right, and Mario gets close too, and what's good about him is he is a really surprisingly good perimeter defender too) DOUG MCDERMOTT (way too underrated, he's 25(I think) and I can't really recall I shot I've ever took with him that missed, GREAT bench guy, and easy to trade for, get him from the Bulls), Seth Curry (best part with him is his name, (Steph??), and even better (and ironic) , he's GODLY in 2k at the 3. Like, legit Steph range. He's late 20s I think but oh man, you will NEVER miss a 3 with him, and puts up good numbers summing, not sure what team), BUDDY HIELD or JAMAL MURRAY(Pelicans for Buddy, he's a rookie so there's a bonus, when treated right grows to near-90, and AMAZING shooter right from the get go/ Murrays on the Nuggets, and oh boy, OVERPOWERED. He's a 20+ point a night guy, and like Buddy, grows to near-90, and sometime over 90. He just might be top 10 for shooters in the gams. WELL worth the trade. This is getting long, so I'll give you my favourite in the game to close it out. So good (and underrated), I'll give him his own paragraph! LOL
ANDREW WIGGINS (plays second-fiddle to Towns, but man, I TELL YOU NOW!!!! Make him the focal point of your team, he grows to mid 90s, and is pretty much LeBron 2.0, and he's only 21 when you grab him. What are you waiting for? WIGGINS-WOLVES-GO!!!!)
