Just stumbling on this now and yeah dont give yourself any pats on the back. If you didnt want a “difficult” child YOU SHOULDNT HAVE ADOPTED ONE. You shouldn’t have ripped a child from its culture only to demonize and traumatize him. All you talk about in this thread is YOURSELF. How you wanted to die, BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR SON? You even fundraised… if you can’t afford the adoption fee dont buy a baby that will have needs.

If you had adequate money, you could have spent that on his care to help both of your mental health. You could have gone to therapy.
