MYKL sticks bomb onto EFFECT, EFFECT suicides with MYKL.

well... mykl can talkshit old c9 since he beat them. he outplayed surefour and knocked C9 out of contenders, just like he said he would on twitter. anyways, this is a 6 player game. trade taimou and mykl and the outcome of the matches would be the same, envy will still win with mykl on envyus. taimou would be the one getting roasted by chat instead. I absolutely agree that mykl is a weak link on kungarna and he's worse than EFFECT but dont claim that kungarna would have won with a better dps player, they're good but envyus has 1000x more advantages than them. they have the budget to hire superstar carries like EFFECT, a teamhouse, tons of coaching/scrim opportunities/international tourneys, and 2 years together. their teamwork is strong. you could swap taimou with any dps player on any other team and envyus would still win. not saying taimou is a weak link, he's a good DPS, but he overrates himself and doesnt give enough credit to other players on teams that have less support than he does. he has incredible support from his tanks and supports and a huge carry from EFFECT, he would not be able to get away with what he does if he played on a lower tier team. he would be manhandled if he went up against his own team.

there are teams (not envyus) that have 4-5 superstar players and 1 mediocre player and still have success in OW. as long as your good players outnumber your mediocre players you can go far. soloqueue in comp is a much more accurate rating of someones skills, rather than win/losses as a team vs other pro teams. thats why you see mediocre "pros" needing duo carries with the best dps in the world just to stay out of masters, because they'd get exposed if they tried to soloqueue. cant wait until blizzard finally implements a 18 year old piece of code (demos) so people can watch from certain players perspectives and see how their team is carrying them. blizzard needs to implement spectating tourneys from ingame client and game demos where all demos are uploaded after a match for people to download and watch from each players perspective. it would greatly help coaches and OWL scouts too.
