I myself am a former bodybuilder.

When I got back into exercising again a little over a year ago I was really out of shape, not as bad as Phil but pretty bad.

I started out with bodyweight exercises and push ups was one of them. 25 push ups was fucking hard, 20-25 was about my upper limit at the time.

There is no way in hell 40 year old Phil who gets ZERO physical activity and has tiny little noodle arms could bang out 25 push ups that effortlesssly. Even when I was out of shape I was in better physical form than Phil, I could still do 2 pull ups at 5'9 200 lbs, so no way in fucking hell Phil was stronger than me.

If he did anything, my guess is Phil either did knee push ups or the worst form push ups ever seen to help himself lie more convincingly.
