I live in Northwest BC and am close to Madison in age. It saddens me when I think about how many times I have seen her face on a missing persons poster. I think it's important to note that Vanderhoof is essentially the middle of nowhere in a dense rainforest. Most people I know believe she was murdered and her body left in the woods somewhere. You can walk 500 yards off the highway and be in a very heavily forested area that no one has ever walked through before. Her body is out there somewhere and I hope that they find it so that her parents can have some peace.
