N00b FC and iSCSI question - Dual Pure Storage arrays to Cisco Nexus 5762UP pair

Why would I feel bad for you? I work on I/O stuff all day, every day. I build large, complex I/O systems connected to large computing environments, I go to conferences, read papers about I/O, and read through the code on all of the popular distributed file systems and SDS pieces. I've learned more about parallel programming by purposely writing some of the most ridiculously asinine I/O models (that are often in production at places) just to simulate performance on large systems.

I'm in the same boat as you (well, not some of the other things you mentioned about breaking down), but I'm not going to complain about where the industry is going, because innovation is a good thing. I'll just have to expand my skill set and work on something else that is interesting.

Democratizing storage and I/O and making it easy as possible for everyone is a good thing. I saw another one of your posts joking about "yay, we'll all be out of a job soon..."

Get a grip and stop being so self-centered, the world isn't about you.
