I made a post about this something like 6 months ago and reddit doesn't remember it any more so I'll go over it
also since I know shahzam will read this, i'll just put in the disclaimer that I really wouldn't care to post this again if he wasn't such a child about it the first time
when shahzam went from open-invite in one season back in source he originally started being a bit of a dick to most people in the scene. this is a large part of the reason that like 90%+ of old school source players will tell you they don't like him very much. there's no real proof of that, but you can ask anyone that's been around for a long time about it
he's also been banned now 7 times for invite conduct policy, out of 50 bans total for all of esea over the last several years. generally, this should give you some idea of the way he's been.
as for being banned for "defending underage girls" (??? the girl he was convicted for assaulting was not under age).. he repeatedly posted links to personal information of a user of esea after being warned multiple times. for some reason he got it in his mind that he hated clive, and literally followed the guy into every thread he posted in just calling him a rapist, and also telling his friends to do the same.
he's also known for saying things like "say that to me on lan" and "lol we'll see what you say on lan" and then showing up and being exceedingly nice (something he's done many, many times).
oh yeah and last time after i made a post much nicer than this where i ended with "he was a dick back in source, but it looks like he's attempted to change", we ended up in a pug and he cried about me saying lies about him. my obvious response was "if anything i said was a lie, please tell me and i'll change it".. to which he responded "stop telling lies about me". He tends to give off the impression of someone that wants their image to change (at least, he did when he was on c9!), but doesn't want to change their personality.
Also last time I ended up in a pug with him he tried to tell me I have the nerdiest voice he's ever heard. that was a good laugh
