Is the name Yu too confusing?

Haha yeah, I get where you're coming from. Probably should've mentioned somewhere that I'm a full-blooded Korean living in the US.

But you have a point! I guess my main concern is when people have to refer to me in the third person when I'm not present. I can't imagine it'll be very smooth or easy for people to understand things like "I was talking to Yu the other day," or "Yu made a good point," or "You and Yu can work together."

And the thing is I haven't experienced much confusion — yet. My friends don't seem to have had much trouble with it, but I'll be heading off to college soon, so I'm going to be introducing myself to a lot of strangers. I guess I'm just trying to nip a potential problem in the bud before it blooms lol
