Narcs bragging about their acts of kindness

I work with a nurse who constantly brags about the nurse mission work she does at a hospital in another country.

What’s she’s doing is a wonderful thing, don’t get me wrong here, BUT, she talks about it non stop almost every shift and it’s clearly for attention. My narc spidey senses always go off when I’m forced to work with her:/

When she first started on my unit 6 months ago, it didn’t strike me as odd because I shrugged it off as her being outgoing and chatty.

It’s just fucking weird now, she talks about it every shift and I feel like the only person who thinks it’s weird. I’ve also noticed that she’s extra smiley and fake with our patients, which I also find disturbing.

Maybe it’s just me being hypersensitive but she’s just not right.
