NASA JPL vs Western Digital Internship

I'm interning part time at JPL now - my advice is to make sure the project you are working on is clearly defined and what you want. The project i was slated to work on hasn't wrapped scoping requirements so I have been kind of in lingo for a month. JPL is a great name to have on your resume, but like any entity, your experience will depend on the project and your manager. I wont be staying at JPL thru the summer because of those reasons (and i got what i think is a better offer). I think its worth pointing out that most people at JPL are amazing, helpful, and brilliant. If youre not from socal, campus is in a really nice location.

Stipend is super low (relative to COL and in general) ~15/hr for undergrads, ~20 for grad students. But like you said if money is not a priority (which it shouldnt be for an internship) and if you are into space at all, JPL is the way to go.
