by focusing on the successes of others' "final form" it can diminish your self actualization and pride in the fact that you are indeed bravely transitioning. I'm not trying to sow seeds of dissent, I'm generally concerned by the amount of people who are super excited in a vacuum and then get insanely depressed and anxious about their own transition.

it's not a belief, it's something I've seen time and time again with transfolks doomscrolling through transtimelines and uwuing on traaa only to realize that transitioning is hella different for everyone and is insanely difficult on your mental fortitude.
