Nate Silver: 'Trump Has More of a Chance Than Bernie' of Winning a Nomination

"Bombing isn't different then going to war" <- lul.

  • Bombing is small scale, costs hundreds of millions maybe billions, costs zero American lives and its quick and easy.

  • War costs Trillions, is so complex there are billions of man hours involved in waging a war, thousands of American lives lost, Trillions of dollars worth of equipment created. Hundreds of thousands of Americans away from home for months and years at a time, wounded warriors all over the place, veterans killing themselves at staggering rates, the US completely infiltrating a country and taking it over in a sense, etc.

Lol yeah those two are the exact same thing. If you wanna bomb a certain dangerous terrorist group I guess you're a massive war monger! Its not black and white like that.

And well Trump is essentially fine with most of what planned parenthood does..? Sorry, I guess ill take back my original statement and rephrase it. "Both want to keep most of planned parenthood funded"

You're exactly right about education! We had to raise the education bar. If the United States was rich enough I would be all in for free education. But we aren't. And I agree we will have to raise the education bar at some point. IMO its around the year 2075 or 2100 because still only 66% of HS graduates go to college. Way less of a percentage even use their college education in the workplace. But we are nowhere near that need to raise the bar right now. The fact is you can not go to college and end up being 100% ay okay. The US is not nearly ready enough to support raising the bar for more complex positions. If you look at where we stand in terms of academics vs the world we suck.

If recent graduates are struggling to find jobs the last thing we need is more graduates to lower the supply and demand equilibrium of starting income. Free college would be great if graduates could make what they wanted and there was a demand for jobs, but more jobs is the primary focus rn.
