Nate Tice (on a recent podcast) revealed that some inside the Bears were pretty high on Russell Wilson before the 2012 draft. Rather than move up a couple of spots in the third round and grab him though they decided to wait until the fourth and picked Brandon Hardin instead.

I think Aaron Rodgers would’ve been the same Aaron Rodgers we’re used to without Favre. Keep in mind, Favre even stated that it’s not his job to get Rodgers ready to play and even if he did teach him a few things, Rodgers ended up cleaning up and polishing his game mostly by himself with some help from Tom Clements, his QB coach back then.

As for the Bears offenses after that, we might honestly have been in a better place because keep in mind we drafted Greg Olsen in ‘07, Forte in ‘08, and had Olin Kreutz and Roberto Garza on the o-line until 2010 at least. With our picks back from the Cutler trade I think we would’ve had a decent offense and keep in mind, Rodgers does a relatively good job of elevating the offensive pieces around him.
