Your world is small, so keep it that way.

The world can crumble around you, but you can stay moral and good. Jobless? There are programs out there intended for you that indecent people have been abusing and living comfortably on for decades.

Or sell your skills and labor to people. Get by with less until this thing blows over, because the end isn't going to be in favor of gov despots. Suffer for now, because in the end you were right. Making 100k now? You can live on 20k. It isn't fun, but it's doable.

Live your life. Take solace and strength in your convictions. After they allow you to participate in society again, go gracefully without the "I told you so's", because the other side will suffer longer.

You won't get any awards or recognition, but that's not why you stuck to your guns. You did it because it was the right thing to do.
