This is reddit, so its no surprise that the intelligentsia would be in here to let everyone know how stupid everyone is, and that they know exactly who and why everything about this story is stupid.

Except of course, the real issue is about how we can help people like this young woman make better life decisions, show her all the opportunities that are out there, etc.

Instead, we get geniuses telling us how either she's stupid, how the legal system is stupid, how one particular political party is stupid, how society is stupid, etc.. basically they're the only person who knows what the truth is, and by telling everyone else on reddit this, they're saving the world.
