US Navy submariner pleads guilty to espionage after telling friend he 'might go Ed Snowden'

Yeah, big time.

All an imaginary adversary would have to do is get the information, recruit the scientists with the needed skills, spend years figuring it out, get together billions of dollars, hire engineers to design it, get specialized builders to build it, procure the nuclear material, train nuclear operators, build defense systems, build a carrier strike group and do years of exercises to train them, all while not being detected by any NATO nations or any worldwide news sources over the period of ten or fifteen years it would take to do all of this.

Then, they would have a single aircraft carrier with somewhat tactically similar capabilities to ours!

I’m glad those 20 year old goofballs are such tight-lipped, super professionals who would never, never do anything stupid
