The NBA’s Definition Of Racism Is Racist

Honestly, I am on the border between “racist and good person” just because of my many poor interactions with African Americans in the South. The blacks I went to high school with regularly acted out in class, disrespected teachers, used and dealt illicit narcotics, assault teachers,vandalized/destroyed school property, never did School work, had children out of wedlock and had such great plans as dealing drugs to be a future career path. I’ve endured awful things said about me, up to and including that in order for African Americans to succeed whites would have to no longer exist. In the real world, I’ve been robbed in broad daylight on a down town street by an African American. Hell, my uncle is a cop and he was nearly murdered by a black man in a traffic stop gone bad. I can turn on the local news in my MSA, and see the majority of the criminals that are caught are black males. In my smaller college town, we had 2 armed robberies, 2 rapes, and 2 stabbings in the school year all done by black men. I knew one of the victims in passing too.

Now I am almost at a bridge to far. This country has been set alight by various criminals getting killed by the cops in resisting arrest. The last truly innocent “unarmed” man killed was Bontham Jean in Dallas and the concept of “systemic racism”. Meaning that any success I have in life is not because of my hard work, discipline, avoiding drugs and self control, but because of my skin color.

Individually, there are a lot of African Americans I know and like, but after all of this you can’t but help and feel somewhat jaded about things.
