Context: Quarry is right next to this on-ramp. After leaving the quarry, the fully loaded dump truck takes the on-ramp to merge onto the highway, whereas most vehicles, especially in the morning, stay to take the exit. Pickup truck saw the dump truck going slowly on the on-ramp (slight uphill), and decided to try and overtake him, only to find out that the dump truck actually needed to merge onto the highway. Not wanting to give up his ego, he tried to go around (on the left), only to nearly get squashed by a tractor-trailer. Tractor-trailer reacts quickly and avoids the pickup truck, all while the pickup truck returns to go back into the queue to take the exit.
