"So it's nearly 100% that being a PM streamer is going to make it impossible for me to get partnered. " - MessiNYC

Eh, I'd take this was a grain of salt. Messi doesn't know the inner workings of Twitch and last time blamed his partnership denial on Twitch saying he used view bots. Obviously he doesn't use them but also his stream is irregular and small.

Twitch generally only partners people who pull in a solid (and regular) 250+ viewers. People who stream often and for long times. Messi doesn't stream often or for very long compared to most streamers.

Also, Twitch generally only gives sub buttons to channels who stream often to 400+ viewers.

These numbers are lowered for niche/dedicated streamers in smaller game, but you need a dedicated fanbase for them to do this.

All this info is from talking to my Twitch rep and also observing the partnering habits of smaller games such as Path of Exile.

Messi is ambitious, but he's moving too fast. Relax and build your viewer base up before claiming these things. He's getting rejected then thinking there's a conspiracy behind it, the truth is that his channel is just too small and offers no value to Twitch for being partnered. Stream more, not just the Salt Mines, stream more friendlies and other games you play. Take it seriously if you want Twitch to take you seriously.

http://www.twitch.tv/messinyc/profile/past_broadcasts - You have 1331 followers and irregular streams. Twitch likes regular content to be partnered. Stream at least an hour every day and Twitch will see you're serious.

I refuse to believe that there's a conspiracy against PM on Twitch. There's just no channels worth partnering right now.

Messi please relax, slow down, focus on building your channel and don't apply for Twitch partnership at every opportunity. Your channel is big enough to get partnered from their niche game rule (smaller games = less viewers needed to be partner) but you don't stream enough and you're definitely not big enough to get a sub button, not even close mate.

tl;dr: Stream more, your channel is small. Relax. There's no conspiracy until proven otherwise. Your "source" provided you with no actual info, just an opinion.
