Nearly murdered by a student and having to setup a gofundme for medical bills is beyond awful.

You clearly have no idea of what ''late stage capitalism'' is if you are calling the United kingdom that... A country with 20% sales tax, A sugar tax, Restrictions on what kind of food products that can be promoted in sales and their placment in the stores, A attempt at free healthcare, and a country that has the labor socialist party as its second largest political party only slightly behind the conservative party that is no where near as conservative as the American counterpart and is more similar to the democrat party there.
If the UK was truly late stage capitalist it wouldnt have market restrictions and high taxes on everything and just let the corporations do what ever they wanted in the market, Compare to the United states where sales tax a measly 6% in some states and there is no government regulation telling stores where they have to place their products and whether or not they are allowed to promote them in advertising, There are way more examples of the British being non capitalist but im getting tired of typing.
