Explanation:
CPU - the i5 is pretty good for the task, if you were willing to spend a bit more we could've fitted in a good Xeon E3.
Memory - I threw in 8 GB, if you want to expand to 16 GB later switch this purchase for a single stick
Storage - SSD as you asked for. With rebates you get a better quality SSD with more space, without rebates you are stuck with a "meh" SSD with just enough space for the programs and the OS.
