Need advice.

It's good that you identify your med school aspirations as a dream. I don't know a single person who knew what specific career they wanted when they were 18 years old. If you don't like biology and don't do well in it, what's the point of pursuing medicine? 40 years of a profession you don't love sounds pretty sad.

The best jobs out there are the ones that didn't exist 20 years ago. For now, you're better off not operating with rigid goals like becoming a doctor. Make good decisions along the way, work hard to learn new things and there's a very good chance things will work themselves out.

I went to college for chemical engineering and didn't prepare myself for the job market. If I had, I would have probably entered a "good enough" life and basically just continued being an engineer. However, that failure led to my building and running a website and doing far, far better than I ever could have as an engineer. So when you make a mistake....it's not always a mistake. It's just an event that sends you in a different direction.
