Need advice on how to get out of my extremely abusive and narcissistic household next summer

Any idea how I can open up a bank account now or in the meantime without anyone in my household finding out?

Yes, for example you can open up a student chequing account in your own name.

How much money could I get in the spring/summer

This depends on your financial situation and the cost of your tuition.

How would I apply for student loans without any of my parental information?

Usually one of your parents would complete an Appendix 1 when you do your student loan application. But in your case, you would apply for student loans without using your parental information and submitting an Appendix 1. Keep in mind this requires documentation, so read below, as I copy and pasted for you the guidelines on the Student Aid Loan Application Form:

You are requesting to be classified as a modified independent status student. It is IMPOSSIBLE for your parent(s)/step-parent/sponsor/legal guardian to complete Appendix 1.

You can continue with your application; however, your application cannot be processed until the following documentation is submitted:

- A modified independent status appeal request form, available on your application timeline; AND

- A notarized statement detailing the nature of the family rift, how long the rift has existed, and why it continues; AND

- A letter from a professional third party (not a member of your immediate or extended family) on business letterhead, testifying as to the truthfulness of your explanation and providing an independent assessment of the situation. This letter must state how long the person has known you and in what capacity. The third party could be a counselor, psychologist, religious advisor, doctor, teacher, social worker or law enforcement officer; AND

A detailed letter from your parent(s)/step-parent/sponsor/legal guardian explaining the nature of the family rift, how long the rift has existed and why it continues. If a parental letter cannot be obtained, a second letter from another professional third party must be submitted.

Is the amount of money I could receive in the spring/summer enough to pay for tuition, food, rent, all other living costs assuming I start off with $0?

Based on your financial situation, you will likely be receiving a grant from the government. The grant money does not need to be paid back. The student loan combined with the grant should be enough to cover living expenses, food, textbooks, etc. for the semester.

Lastly, any other advice would be extremly helpful. I'm trying to do whatever I can to survive these next few months before this school year ends.

I was in a toxic household couple years back before as well, so I know how you feel. I live with my mom now and I landed a job at fast food right after. Do what improves your mental state, work part-time if you can. Let me know if you have any questions. Here to help.
