You were presented with how the system would work before having to spend any coins or money, so if you feel duped this on you for having the information available and making a decision you deem bad, then whining about it. The player base is massive, you might see some minute changes from community backlash but respawn is not negotiating with you, you hold no power here. They understand how the player- game economy works and best believe they have a department designed to maximize profit. They probably expect some entitled players to whine, close their pockets and boycott but they know they'll make that money up elsewhere. Games really popular right now and someone not on reddit is willing to spend $30 more to grab battle passes after the changes and that's $30 more than the average bitchy commenter will spend and they'll take that trade 100%
