'We need China more than they need us': Canada's options limited for quelling tensions with Beijing

What's immoral about being a realist? This isn't standing up to save lives or anything. And the consequences are real for a lot of people.

Meng's charges could easily be called frivolous and there are very serious consequences for them. Or is Canada now on board with the US using it's reserve currency status to impose it's domestic decisions on the rest of the World rather than coordinate with others.

There's plenty of authority/options to go down within a rule of law framework that countries follow all the time when it suits them. Rule of law is primarily there to prevent a government from oppressing people, but they still have completely legal options for choosing whether or not to prosecute or in this case still not extradite. That's how it should be too.

I don't know why people are getting so angry over the suggestion that Canada shouldn't sell out it's own people to execute John Bolton's foreign policy which is also consequently not always friendly to Canada.
