Need College/Relatioship adivice

I'm currently going through a weird time of discovery in my life. To start things off, I have always had a passion for playing Collegiate sports, and I'm now 20 yo Male who just moved back home after getting that chance. I was told by multiple coaches that I wasn't going to be able to play because of where I'm from (Southwest us). One coach gave me a chance that 20+ coaches had not, a walk-on opportunity. So I took the chance and moved to CO.

Now, this is where the complications come in. I end up meeting the girl of my dreams and my first gf ever. All is well, and we both get along great and grow to fall in love. Time goes on, and the end of the school year comes. I break the news to my GF that I cannot afford to come back. Both of us were saddened but both agreed to let each other go because we wanted one another to experience college without being held back by another.

Throughout the summer, I ened up having a layover in CO and had the to chance to talk to my ex-gf/gf. We both agreed that we missed each other and she wanted to visit me. Long story short she comes to visit, and it is nothing short of a fantastic time. A couple of weeks later, school starts, and we move on as friends. Time goes on, and we call each other saying that we miss each other (all the things that star crossed teens say). About a week later, she calls me telling me all of these things she did (Classic ex call). No doubt, I was heartbroken, the love of my life said everything you could say to break someone down.Once again, time goes on, and here we are in mid-October, and I have no idea what to do. Ex and I are still talking, but its kind of a weird mood where you know someone still has feelings for you, but you can't express them.Deep down, I want to go back to Co, after working so hard throughout middle school to high school to give it up after one year. I went to Co without knowing this girl, but now thinking about going back puts her back in my mind. I genuinely do have a passion for my sport with or without the girl in the mix.

Looking for outside views to help with the decisions ahead.

If I left out anything that could help you help me, please let me know.Cheers, thanks for helping!

10/4 thank you!
