We kind of want autonomy. However, that won’t happen with the current regime so we keep a low profile. The micronation thing is more of an aesthetic. Right now, I’m living in the US but I still have family members back home.

We’re located in Kaiping, a county-level city within Jiangmen (prefecture-level city), Guangdong (province). The city is famous for diaolous, they’re fortified watchtowers. Within Kaiping is a town where my ancestors were one of the two ruling clans. The town is a little smaller than San Marino. There are two libraries, one for the two clans.

Our national bird is the golden pheasant. We’re anti-communism but we’re pro-China, supporting a unified China under a different government. Our national flowers are the lotus and lily.

In 2017, the PRC evicted everyone from the town to begin renovations. I’m personally against this because I know the town won’t look the same. The PRC plans to attract overseas Chinese like myself to come back.
