Need help planning a typical 'New Orleans' style meal at home.

I'm going to be nice here and give you good advice besides the usual automod: tourist thing and despite the fact that New Orleans food and vegan ideals don't mix at all. If I lose my local cred over this...I'll judge any car flip you post at a 0/10!

Appetizer: Cajun Trinity "crab cake"...I guess you can use tofu or some other horrid thing

Entre: Gumbo z'herbs. You can sub out the good pork shoulder and pork stock stuff for feaux sausage and veggie stock.

Dessert: Bread pudding. Figure out how to make it vegan as the only real non-vegan things are eggs and milk. If that doesn't work you can make a vegan baked alaska as they should have substitutes for egg whites and ice cream.

You don't need to bother with crazy cocktails as a Pimm's cup will do you and it's easy as pie to make. A New Orleans Pimms has lemonade and cucumber garnish...that's the difference.

Don't bother asking questions on how to make this stuff because Google is your friend. Plus, if you loved her you would try really hard to make this work.

Good luck and try being a pescatarian...SOOOO much easier to cook New Orleans food if you eat fish / seafood.
