That was my thought, too: To stabilize the view of the book. The way it is, it's a little difficult to view as it moves around, and some of book even moves out of frame. A still picture of the pages would solve that, for sure. But I think keeping the book as video makes it a little warmer and friendlier.

In relation to that, my viewing eye didn't fancy that the book kept disappearing. This might change if the book is more stationary, but my thought is to leave the book on screen and frame everything so it doesn't obscure you and the kids. That way, the viewers get maximum time to view the pictures. And it offers the right age group the ability to follow along with the words and then a moment to view the pictures.

Maybe place the book on a stand, so the turning of pages can still be live, but once the pages are held open the book isn't moving around.

Having the book disappear each time only hid the turning of the pages... If the book is stationary and stays on screen, it'll only take a second to turn the page, and the pages are viewable for the greatest length of time. I just felt that it lost some continuity when it kept disappearing and coming back.

Also, more dance break!!!
