Need help with my first EDH deck

I think landfall is weak mechanic in an eternal format such as EDH and I would encourage you to consider building something else. To make matters worse, making this remotely competitive will not fall into the group many people would consider "budget". If you are on a budget, I would look up existing competitive budget ideas and use that as a base to start.

Right now you do not appear to have any solid landfall enablers (outside of your general) that ensure you are playing multiple lands per turn. You really should be running every fetchland. Here is the manabasecrafter link for your commander. You also should be running both [[Oracle of Mul Daya]] and [[courser of kruphix]]. I would also look for the other cards that let you play an additional land per turn.

As you are in green/red, your card draw options are limited. I personally like [[Sylvan Library]]. There are budget options like [[harmonize]].

For you win conditions, none of them are likely.

  • Deck is to slow for hydras, you need land ramp for landfall FOCUS ON THAT. Harrow is good, but you should also be running cultivate and kodama's reach. Do a quick google search land ramp in EDH. There are a ton in green.
  • Omnath, Locus of Rage is a fun card, but is not your general, you have no tutors (get some, [[worldly tutor]], [[survival of the fittest]], [[birthing pod]].). One card that you cannot tutor is not a reliable win con.
  • Your deck is far to slow for "early game aggression" to be a thing. Elfball is faster from a creature perspective and scales better. Your deck would get locked out before it can get going by casual pillowforts.

Many EDH decks run 2 sweeper effects that will kill all your creatures. Make sure you have a way to come back from that. (Cards that say return to the battlefield all creatures that died this turn, etc).

Cards to consider pulling out at a quick glance:

  • Anger
  • Atarka, World Render
  • Archetype of Endurance
  • Borborygmos Enraged - this gets rid of the lands you want to be playing
  • Feral Hydra
  • Harbinger of the Hunt
  • Heroes' Bane
  • Spearbreaker Behemoth
  • Stalking Vengeance
  • Zhur-Taa Druid - there are plenty of one drops that add mana. This is a two drop that does that and makes the whole table target you.
  • Magmaquake - this hurts our creatures.
