I think he's dogging the old lady for valuing that merchandise that the guy was stealing over her own personal safety. Shit isn't worth it, and people who perform mental gymnastics to justify putting themselves into those situations are kind of ignorant to some people. It's alright to disagree but yeah, don't pretend it's an issue of "balls" when isn't like that at all lmao, it's an issue of whether you think it's worth getting in someone's way when they have been left so destitute as to do such a desperate thing in broad daylight.

Anyone who has an ounce of empathy or sense understands it's better in every way to let the guy run off with his cart and let the police do their job than it is to thrust yourself into the situation and pretend you are someone special for doing so.
