Need Ideas For Your Membership Site Niche? Need A Better Way To Monetize It?

Pt 2 Solutions

To solve the Merchant's problem, we need to go about things much differently. Granted, the fact it is radically different might make the merchant start thinking it's too good to be true, but once they get the gist of the strategy down, they won't have any issues because there are no issues to be had, no risks to them, no loss of money, no loss of business, zero risk.

To solve the Member's problem, we need to make sure they get all the value, so much value that when they hear 10 bucks or 20 bucks they also think there's bound to be a catch. But, like the merchant, once they get the gist of the concept and offer down, they won't have any issues because there are no issues to be had either. No risks to them, no loss of money, and only appeasement.

When we solve their problems, we solve the Entrepreneur's problem of how to make money online doing something lucrative, helpful and just plain fun.

Our niche membership site then entails that the merchant or business or producer or creator or whatever, is given the platform and tools to promote their products or services at 100% zero cost. No funny business. No upsells. No bait and switch, none of that typical bullshit. Its all FREE to the merchant with this strategy. They don't pay squat.

There are a number of avenues to offer the merchant to be able to promote their wares at zero cost. In some cases, they can sell directly off the site, in the form of taking orders, getting paid directly via whatever link to their sales page, delivering the product or service. In others, they may be using an ecommerce site that handles processing orders, so all they're doing is linking over to that and the customer can go on with the order. In other cases, such as for offline businesses, the customer might be downloading coupons or showing their logged in status to take advantage of an offer, assorted ways to handle that, depending on your niche. It can be a catalog or a sales funnel or a proof of membership.

A directory listing, a profile, commenting, perhaps a forum, several avenues to directly engage with their potential customers or clients, AMAs, questions/answers, applications, discussions, ratings, blog branding, contests, and so on. Each niche will have its own options. All free.

The only stipulation is that they offer daily, weekly or monthly discounts to subscribing members, in the form of a minimum of 50% off or greater, totally free and always free with zero requirements, BOGO 50% off or better, or BOGO Free. No credit cards, no emails, no bait and switch, no nonsense. Minimum 50% off or free...or BOGO 50% or free. A few other options can be included as a requirement that gives a little more wiggle room, like free with email, free with like (social media), first look, sneak peek, samplers.

They are still free to promote and sell their wares public facing for full price or whatever other discounts but the above are explicitly reserved for members only.

That solves the problem for the subscriber or consumer.

They get significant savings on whatever they purchase from any of the merchants. They can also publish reviews and offer feedback on the merch they buy from the merchants. They can publish blog posts in certain categories. Maybe they get additional swag or participation events with the merchants or creators, first look, sneak peak, private sales, and so on. Other items can be included depending on niche, the premiums, the loss leaders.

It isn't one subscriber with one merchant, the subscribers get the same deal from all of the merchants so they're getting an abundance of savings, merch, freebies, interactivity, up close and personal engagement, and they are getting all of it for 10 bucks a month.
