Curiously I went in to a sexual health clinic and asked for PrEP and the Doctor working there didn't even know what PrEP was and was telling me I have to get to the hospital stat for PEP instead lmao.

I was trying to explain to her what PrEP while she was looking it up on the computer, culminating with her leaving the room to phone up a colleague.

Shortly after a nurse stepped in and apologised for the care and said she'd be taking over. She knew it all and could answer all my questions, eventually getting me started on PrEP.

Perhaps there's a omission in LGBT issues in medical school that isn't present in nursing school? Regardless, just interesting.
