Need input: AC installer damaged copper lines, shoddy work

I tried and I could not reach the owner or boss at DirectAir, at least not yet. I called today to ask if the tech they sent was an employee or a subcontractor, the guy on the phone wasn't able to answer but didn't deny it could be a contractor either, he told me the boss wouldn't be available on the weekend, so I guess they don't consider my situation important or urgent enough as I assume the boss would be a phone call away. If the owner/boss cares about their deal with Costco they will make it right, otherwise Costco will give me my money back and if Costco and DirectAir both refuse to pay for the lines replacement I am preapred to sue them, got no problem with that. Not only that I will file complaints with BBB, the city and the state; let's see how they like that.

I have a maintenance inspecton for furnace / AC tomorrow. What should I be wary of? A/C replacement advice Got quoted $8k to get a 1.5 ton 14 SEER unit replaced and this was my response - I might be wrong with what I said but was curious as to what the pros in here have to say! The new upstairs neighbours have the only access to the thermostat and refuse to turn it on. Landlord is no help, the new tenants are also her friends. Can I wire this thermostat in to the same terminals to override them and turn the heat on once in while? If not, what are my immediate options?
